An addition and refurbishment project that maximizes connection to the extensive rear yard.

 

The 18' wide rear doors fold away to bring the outside in to the spacious new dining room. Exposed rafters pass below a large skylight and cast a pattern of light and shadow that changes throughout the day.

 

The addition picks up on the materials of the existing property, wrapping the roof finish down the rear facade to meet the ground.​​
